The Making of Energy Crystals
Stone · Light · Handwork
From Himalayan crystal to a pendant shaped by hand, the process begins by looking closely at what the stone already holds: its natural point, its inner veils, and the way light moves through it.
No two pieces ask for exactly the same treatment. The artisan studies the crystal’s proportions before working slowly around its existing form, preserving the character that pressure and time have left within the material.
Shaping is a gradual conversation between eye, hand, and stone. The piece is checked repeatedly so that its balance can emerge without erasing every natural variation.
When the crystal is prepared for wearing, the aim is not to make nature perfectly uniform. It is to create a pendant that still reveals where the material came from while allowing it to rest comfortably close to the body.
At Potala Karma, these crystals are valued for their Himalayan origin, individual structure, and hand-finished form. Traditional associations can offer a language for personal intention, but the finished piece does not promise a medical, financial, protective, or spiritual result.
