Made by Hand
Potala Karma is first and foremost a working handcraft studio.
In this room, material is handled slowly: bead by bead, metal by metal, form by form. The work begins with what can be held, studied, and made with care.
A Living Reference Collection
Alongside the pieces we make by hand with materials from Tibet, the room holds a small collection of objects gathered over more than a decade from local private sources.
Many are not for sale. They remain as references for material, form, and the patient work of making.
The Work Continues
Not every object in the studio is for sale. Every object has a place in the work.
