Potala Karma

Care in every detail
Thangka presents figures and motifs through painting; tsa-tsa presents them in sculpted or moulded relief. Thangka pendants invite a closer look at brushwork and colour, while tsa-tsa pendants emphasise form and depth.
Our artisans give care to each small detail. Hand-painted Thangka works are built up with fine brushwork, while tsa-tsa works are shaped in relief and finished according to the individual piece. See each product description for its specific construction.
Our hand-painted Thangka works use natural mineral pigments to create rich, layered colour. Pigments and finishes for tsa-tsa pieces vary; please refer to the materials and finish described for the piece you choose.
Different figures and motifs carry different traditional meanings. You can choose through the expression, colours and personal intention that speak to you. The figure and symbolism of each work are explained in its product description.
Yes. After each artwork is completed, it must receive a blessing from our Master Tenzin before leaving our workshop and making its way to you, carrying our wishes for peace and well-being.
Avoid water, knocks, prolonged direct sunlight, perfume and cleaning chemicals. Gently wipe the outer case with a soft, dry cloth; do not rub the painting or coloured surface. Store separately and check the cord and connections regularly.
