Potala Karma

Care in every detail
Our crystal and gemstone materials come from the Mount Kailash mountain range. We have filmed this sourcing story and share the available footage with the relevant collection or product.
Yes, we use natural gemstones. Natural origin and any later treatment are separate questions: please refer to the information supplied for the individual piece for details of any known treatment.
Yes. Our artisans select the stones for their colour, grain and form, then shape, polish and assemble them by hand, allowing the natural material to guide the finished piece.
Some natural crystals develop inclusions, internal fractures or bands of colour as they form. These features give stones individual character, but they do not by themselves establish natural origin or quality.
Yes. After each artwork is completed, it must receive a blessing from our Master Tenzin before leaving our workshop and making its way to you, carrying our wishes for peace and well-being.
Avoid knocks, drops, perfume and cleaning chemicals. Different gemstones respond differently to water, heat and light, so follow the care for the stated material. When unsure, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately.

Vajra Pendant
The vajra is a Buddhist ritual symbol of indestructibility. Rendered in white quartz, its form becomes an emblem for clear resolve and a commitment held with care.
Ice catches the shape of a branch without taking away its strength. That imagined meeting of apparent delicacy and firm structure gives the quartz vajra its story of a conviction made visible through light.
