MOUNTAIN · PILGRIMAGE
A path shaped by devotion and the people who walk it.

Kora is the practice of circling a sacred place or object. In Tibetan Buddhist life it can be both pilgrimage and walking meditation, around a temple, a stupa or a mountain. Mount Kailash, known in Tibetan as Gang Rinpoche, is one such sacred landscape.
Some pilgrims walk while reciting mantras or counting a mala; others combine the journey with repeated prostrations. The practice gives devotion a physical rhythm: a step, a recitation, a return to the ground. Its significance belongs to the pilgrim’s tradition and intention.
A closer reading
A kora does not need to cross a distant mountain landscape. Sacred circuits can also surround a temple, stupa or collection of texts. The repeated return is part of the practice: the body moves while attention comes back to the place and intention held in mind.
Within Tibetan Buddhist custom the circuit generally proceeds clockwise. Bön pilgrims traditionally move counterclockwise. Remembering that difference makes room for the communities whose practices share a landscape without being identical.

Consider the journey through the people who undertake it: the effort of a step, the care given to an intention, the patience to continue.
The short film above introduces pilgrimage gestures. It is not documentation of an individual customer’s order, and we do not identify its unverified location as a confirmed Mount Kailash circuit. Your service completion video is a separate deliverable described on the service page.
The listed service arranges one Mount Kailash kora on your behalf using the name you provide. It is a service, with no physical item shipped. The confirmed listing states completion within 15 days and a video featuring your name after completion. It does not promise a particular spiritual or worldly result.
